Maccabi Soccer Awards Night
Saturday night was the annual awards night for the Senior Maccabi Men’s soccer teams. As the physios for these teams, it was wonderful to see so many of the players we have helped to overcome injuries perform so well in the awards….very special mention to Frank Ngwa who took out the best and fairest in the firsts for the second year in a row after breaking his leg in a car accident and putting in an outstanding effort with rehab! Never say never!
The featured picture shows a very proud Bernie with Brad Blumenthal and Josh Sacks. Both year twelve students and first year in seniors. Brad placed second in the best and fairest and Josh receiving the courage award AND top goal scorer in the firsts!
In his first year of playing soccer EVER Alan received Best and Fairest for the 3rds.
Josh a huge congrats on being awarded the Coaches award.. a big accolade from a coach of Juan’s standing.
Franklin was awarded best and Fairest in the firsts and Alex Godler Best and Fairest in the seconds. Both TJP success stories, recovering from severe knee injuries. Huge Congrats guys!!
